Mesh Grille
Seen a few Mesh grilles around. Curious as to how you guys mounted the mesh? This is on a 92-94 SS Grille

Re: Mesh Grille
I just bent the mesh around the grill on the inside and once you put the grill back into place it holds the mesh nice and tight. If you do it right, no need to mount it permanently.

Re: Mesh Grille
On a post-facelift you have to attach it somehow, nothing behind the grill holds it in.
I bent it around the grill opening like Kimo but I had to epoxy it with some two-part plastic epoxy to keep it in place. I tried hot glue, but freeway speeds would knock it off. I ended up using the same epoxy that I used to smooth over the holes left by cutting the center bars out of the grill in the first place. After it was all together, I painted the grill with high-temp flat black engine paint.

Re: Mesh Grille
If you need to attatch it use two part epoxy. Its super strong and isn't affected by temperature the way hot glue is and it bonds much better with surfaces than hot glue. Get the 5 minute stuff at home depot. I've used it for all kinds of things and its crazy strong.

Re: Mesh Grille
good for repairing most anything too, but the non 5 min stuff tends to be stronger in the long run btw

Re: Mesh Grille
Never used the non-5 minute stuff. It's already tough as hell and I haven't had the need to use anything stronger. Never had it fail before.

Re: Mesh Grille
I did use the 2-part epoxy on mine and it never failed. I'm pretty sure it was the 5-minute stuff.
