Front light wiring harness questions.

Post by CheatingOnMyDub »

So I'm mid repair on a '96 Legacy OBW with a manual 2.2L. The nose was crunched a little but is fixable. The only thing standing in my way at this point is the smashed up and mangled wiring harness.

My question is.....

What other harness will fit?

To clarify, which one...

It runs from the fuse panel under the drivers side of the dash, through the body and along the inside of the driver fender. Then pops through to another small fuse panel which then branchs to the alternator and off to the headlights/blinkers/rad fans.

I'll more than likely end up trying to get the exact one from a suby junkyard locally, but it would help if I had an idea of what else works. I have access to a '98 auto L and its missing a few sections of the panel located in the engine compartment.

The second gen 95-99 Legacies should have "similar" wiring, but I can't tell you whether everything will be 100% the same. Like on the first gen legacies, there are differences between the 90-91's and 92-94's. I don't know if there was a mid-model year split. If so, I think the 95 model year would likely be the closest. As you've stated though...if you can find one from a 96, that'd be your best bet.
