I'm hoping so, it didn't look like he'd posted on NASIOC since early August, so I'm hoping he took a nice long vacation. I'm years overdue for one myself. I'm in no hurry, but chances are my email will get lost in the shuffle.

I didn't send any money, I'm just ready to purchase. So no worries.

I have a feeling he's a lot like me in the sense that he does this on the side and has many irons in the fire.

I just emailed him again. I'm not trying to pressure him. I can totally understand a busy schedule. I thought it was weird that even after sending in my full payment, I didn't get an acknowledgement message back. I'm really not pushing, but it does have me concerned. I just got the rest of the supporting parts to do my TD05 upgrade. I'm excited to get going on it!

Good news, I just got a response to the email I just sent. I'm sure he'll be back on here and around sooner or later.

I just talked to him 2 days ago cuz I had purchased mine a week or two ago but hadn't sent him my ecu yet. He said he's been pretty busy trying to catch up on orders so you should hear from him soon. You gotta think, he's one guy making all this stuff for people all over the US and even internationally, and he has a day job too.

I just wanted to throw this is cuz i was so impresses. With my robtune, using the launch control, I'm building 10lbs of boost at a stand still. My downpipe is open right now as I'm doing some work on the tranny and it sounds unreal almost as it has antilag.

Can anyone point me in the direction of which ECU terminals correspond with the individual ignition coil signals. I'm going to be adding in circuits from my Robtune ECU out to my coils (05 WRX) Lots of good write ups on how to install the duel ignitor setups but I can't seem find a straight forward pinout or diagram of which ECU channels are for which cylinders?

Oh I've used those many a time lol and thanks again for all the great info. On another note would it be feasible to use the +12v supply from the waste spark coil (yellow wire at pin2 in coil connector) and split it 4 ways to power my 05 STi coils? Sorry if this has been hashed out somewhere else just havn't found it in my searches. I'm going to ground them using the retaining bolt as Rob does.

Yeah I don't see why you couldn't use the old coil 12v for the new coils.

I'm having a re-occuring maf nightmare. I got one good one and the car runs fine but the maf cuts our every 5 minutes or so.
Does anyone know if I can splice in a newer style maf? The screw in type off the 02 wrx

It may run, but it's not calibrated for the ECU, so you could go lean/rich and "POP" goes the engine.

I've not read all your other posts RE: your MAF issue, but I'd suggest some personal time w/your wiring harness.

And I know it's a PITA but may be worth it to put the stock ECU back in to test? If you have the 440/450 tune @ least you won't have to swap injectors.

Has anyone heard from Rob as of lately? I'd like to gettmy TD05-16g rebuilt and swap heads, but that is dependent on getting the 20g ECU customized by Rob.

Why are those tasks dependant on rob? Just do your heads and fix the turbo. Your Carr Will be fine with the ss ecu.

I'm maxed out on fuel cut as is with a WRX TD04 and with the RobTune I can have a safe tune worthy of the parts. I may end up swapping heads for better flow and low end improvent.

Also if I'm able to do the ECU swap then I have more reason to get the upgrade parts rebuilt and installed. Other wise they wait until I can afford to go with the Hydra Nemesis.

Turn your boost down and be safe until then. Head swap and stock boost is practically wrx power.

I'm dialed in just below stock fuel cut with an electronic boost controller with spike stop (Go Fast Bits - G-Force). Like anyone else I desire more power!!! :)

After re-reading many more times and double checking in multiple places, including this post by rob about coil conversion over on nasioc, I've confirmed that the spark ignition numbers in the 20g ECU pin out don't correspond to cylinder location but to the firing order of the engine. Why Subaru did this is beyond me and everyone else apparently, especially since they don't seem to clarify this in the manual anywhere! Just thought maybe you would want to note it in the diagram.

Taking this into account you get-

pin10 = 1st ignition event
pin9 = 2nd ignition event
pin8 = 3rd ignition event
pin7 = 4th ignition event

This means you get-

pin10 =cyl. 1
pin9 =cyl. 3
pin8 =cyl. 2
pin7 = cyl. 4
