Trouble with cold starting car

Post by Shmeez »

Recently my 92 Legacy Sedan has had issues starting from a cold start it will crank start and stall out right there, this morning i heard a clunk from the engine, i cranked it again gave it gas and reved it for about 45 seconds and drove to work, my Check Engine light is on but i do not have an OBD 1 reader at the moment also the engine i slightly louder than usual does anyone have any ideas on what this could be, i went and got an oil change yesterday i have found i have an oil leak which was causing problems starting the car about 2 days ago.

Thank you for any help,

Shmeez

Welcome to the forum! Here is how you check for codes without the cable:
