WTB: Working Wiper Stalk for Wagon.

Post by SWRT »

First off, do any adjustable intermittent wiper stalks
work on our cars?

I'm wanting to buy a working wiper stalk for a wagon.
It obviously needs to work for the front wipers and
the rear. Mine currently doesn't.

If you have one that's compatible with a 90-94 Legacy wagon
let me know how much you want for it shipped to 33810.

Thanks guys!

yes you can get a legacy or impreza wiper switch with intermittent control. it was available from 93-96 as a plug n play unit and you can get them for sedans and wagons. I have the wagon version in my wife's car and its got the rotary selector for the time delay.

if I find more I'll grab them. if you don't mind buying new it they should be available

Shoot no, not after I found out they're the same on the wagons.
I may be going to the junk yard after work to see if they have
any. If not and you happen to find more I'll get one from you.

I was able to use one from a 1st gen on my 96. Same exact wiring.

Diesel Devil, the impreza/forester ones are different and won't work, they plug straight into the electronics on the column, whereas the 1st/2nd gen legacys run a wire down the column to a plug under the dash. Retrofitted one on my old 98 Forester, way easier than on the Legacy.

If you do end up getting an intermittent one Diesel I'll get that
from you as long as it's in my price range, because that sounds
awesome. I'd definitely prefer that over a regular one.
