Mystery plug

Post by THAWA »

I found a plug in the wiring near the headlight/cornerlights right in front of the abs unit on the passanger side of the engine bay, it has space for two prongs. Question is, what does it go to? I would imagine lights of some sort but which?

mystery plug

i too noticed this plug when i installed a pair of Hella driving lights today.. i assumed it was for a pair of factory driving lights, and i contemplated wiring them in that plug, but i didn't want to screw too much with the headlight relay.. i can't imagine our models would come with headlight wipers, but that's a good guess, and it's just as viable as mine... anyone care to take a guess?
BTW, installed a pair of Hella FreeForm55 driving lights and wired them to the corners, so now my headlights are not even discenable in the light of the Hellas.
fun stuff... extreme light.. if you have a B&B auto in your town, check to see if they have the lights on sale.. 1/2 price from 99.99

None of the Legacys had wipers, just washer nozzles on the top of the front bumper. It may or may not be for those though as no USDM car had 'em AFAIK.
