They have to change out the music, and cut the clips to add commercials.
Though I did skip through the interview/celebrity thing. I just watch their lap and see their time, the interview this week seemed to go on foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I think they play the full version on BBC America for the premiere night, because the show is an hour and a half long. If you watch the reruns of it, it's only an hour, so they cut out stuff.
I really liked the Pagani video, the Bentley part I was Meh about, and Jeremy's creation made me cringe. Watching Capt. Winters from Band of Brothers as the star in a reasonably car, was neat but also weird to hear him talk with his native English accent.
That bit at the end where Jeremy goes up against the 4 investors (called Dragons Den), did that show come out before our "Shark Tank?" I know they have "Dragon's Den" in Canada, as I get it on one of our cable channels (surprisingly the Canadian version has two of the same people as the Shark tank).

Wait....I'm confused now.
To be honest I dont know if i like the new pagani. It's still beautifully designed but I like Zonda's looks more. I think its those damn Shrek ears they put on it.

I don't like its grill - the filmographer does a good job to shoot the car from flattering angles, but every once in a while you see the grill which reminds me of a Chrysler product lol. Tail end looks overly bulky too.

Ok, so I finally got around to watching the new top gear. I'm just curious for those of you that d/l it.....I want to see if BBC America cut anything out.
First they did the segment on the Pagani Huayra, then the news, then the Bentley, then the star in a reasonably priced car, and then Jeremy's Peel P45.
I saw all that. Can't remember what order but I downloaded it via the torrent on finalgear.com. that new zhonda may be ugly but damn is it fast!

So I think I just watched the best episode of Top Gear USA yet. I still don't like how all their episodes are challenges but I guess they do that to set them apart fromt their British counterparts.

Yeah, they've gotten better and I personally like the challenges based episodes better...at least for them. I haven't seen the latest episode yet...if that's the one you're talking about was the best. Will try and watch it this weekend.
I'm just watching last weeks TGA, holy cow it's hysterical! The McLaren vs NASCAR stock car with 2very competitive drivers was just epic. Best episode they'he done so far.
I'll save TGUK for tomorrow.

Agreed! That was their best episode yet. The challenges were hysterical and the competition between the McLaren and Nascar was great.
