That magic number

Post by THAWA »

I keep hearing about how the ej22t can take you to around 350 hp on stock internal and all that stuff. My question though is, who here has close to 350 hp? What do you have that is getting you that power? What about your 1/4 mile time? Anything else you can add?

First off... are you talking at the flywheel or wheels? If you manage it properly and baby it, you can go to practically any number on stock internals... The tranny is the real problem before anything else.

Power mods (Simplified): Exhaust, Intercooler, Boost Control, Turbo, Fuel Injectors, ECU. Different combinations of different types & amounts of these will get you whatever numbers you want (to a point).

Quarter mile times... once again depends on your tranny condition and what wheels, trim, weight you have on the car. I do believe the 300+ flywheel Legacy's are in the 12's. 300+ at the wheels puts you into 11's with a dog-box, I think. Check out Rigoli's website.
