Ive noticed that quite a few US WRX LSD's are going for pretty cheap on Ebay($125-$200 US). Does anybody know if I can just get a hold of one and swap it in? And what is the gearing in it? It is the entire housing and not just the gears.

What do you guys think?

You'd have to basically build the LSD.....if you can even do that....not sure.
Reason is the rear diff is 3.545 not the 3.9 like the t-leg

I drive a 94 Legacy Wagon that had the Air Susp. What do you think the ratio is in mine and why cant I just swap them out? I really dont know a lot about differentials except that that the higher the ratio, the faster the acceleration. (4:11 quicker than 3:70)

Your car is probably 3.9 but it could be 4.11 . Check the sticker on the rear differential. Its not too hard to swap ring/pinion but getting the axles to work is an unknown. I think the WRX uses male axles while ours use female with LSD specific stubs. Meaning you would probably have to swap axles and LSD along with ring and pinion.
Its alot easier NOT to remove the pinion gear, but rather transfer the LSD unit to the old carrier. Since this takes some time I suggest getting a used differential matching yours and build it on your spair time. That way if something goes wrong your original is still intact.
