Are any of the relays interchangeable? I'm trying to find a temporary testing solution to my cruise relay that's attached to the CCU. I have a few A/C relays sitting around and I'm certain they'll plug right in but not so sure if the polarity and whatnot will match up.
From my research, which didn't come up with much, the only difference I can tell is that the cruise relay has a bracket attached to it where the A/C ones do not. What could be so significant about a bracket?
Any ideas?

I usually switch the sunroof and fuel pump and if it clicks when I press sunroof its good to go.

Re: Interchanging Relays
Yeah, for the most part, relays are relays as long as the section that switches is wired the same or has the same plugs.

Re: Interchanging Relays
Could there be a difference between plastic casing and metal? Both of the cruise relays I pulled out are wrapped in metal and have brackets attached. Could the metal be acting as a ground?

No, the casing doesn't really matter and is not acting as a ground. That bracket is just a bracket to hold them.
