I did a search on this and never came up with anything solid. Some said run it off the manifold, after the turbo, before or after the throttle plate.
And a lot of pictures are from very old threads that don't exist anymore.
I was thinking of T-ing it into the line that comes off the intake manifold right under the brake cylinder hose.
I am wanting a vacuum reading and boost reading. This is on a stock setup.
This is on a mechanical boost gauge.

A good place is T'd off the line that runs from the passenger side front intake manifold runner to the charcoal canister. That gives great boost/vac readings and you don't mess with anything important tapping into it.

The one that runs off of the #1 cylinder runner? That goes to a T?James614 wrote:A good place is T'd off the line that runs from the passenger side front intake manifold runner to the charcoal canister. That gives great boost/vac readings and you don't mess with anything important tapping into it.

Re: Boost gauge line location
Yup. I put another T between the manifold and the T that's there. Looking at the diagram, the line you were mentioning goes to the BPV and would work just as well. Pretty much any line coming off a manifold runner will do the trick.

Yes, As long as it's somewhere on the manifold between the throttle plate and heads.

Re: Boost gauge line location
Ya I T'd mine in to the line between the intake manifold and the BPV but I've been thinking about moving it because i think the gauge line is leaking slightly and it could mess with the functionality of the BPV.

Same place as mine is. Just ran a hose into the car and mounted it in the center vents.
