Best Christmas Present EVAR!!!!

Post by LaureltheQueen »

So.... I'm sitting on the couch this morning, drinking a cup of coffee, enjoying a bowl of honey nut cheerios, watching reservoir dogs, when I get a knock at the door. I leap up, quivering with excitement, and run to the front door, I open it to see a big brown UPS truck pulling out of my driveway, and look down, nothing. I, quite disheartened, wander over to our kitchen door, and open that one, just to make sure, and to my sheer delight, there are not one, but two boxes, labeled "whiteline" on my doorstep. Yes, 17 weeks after I placed my order with PDM-racing.com, my springs, which were on backorder from Australia, were finally sitting on my doorstep. I bring both boxes in, run upstairs to my room to check the part numbers, and come downstairs once again to tear open my gifts to Ruby. I open the first box, and 2 boxes of "smarties" fall out. Now to you Americans, smarties in every other part of the world are not rolls of compacted sugar discs(rockets) but a more M&M type candy. Yeah. They love me. I checked the part numbers, and they matched, except for the first digit, which was a 7 on the pdm-racing site, and a 2 on the whiteline part number, but all the numbers start with 7 on pdm-racing's site. at any rate, here is what i've been waiting months for, I will finally have not ghetto suspension. I'm giddy. You have no clue. In mere days, my car will go from blown shocks, saggy springs, and stock seats to kyb agx's, whiteline control springs, and wrx seats. [homer]mmmmm.... hanling....ahhhhhhhhh[/homer]

That's awsome Laurel, I'm jealous. I have te stock springs and seats on GR-2's and I'd like the seats and springs at least. Some day soon. :)

Hmm... I think a fresh STi in your driveway would have beat that.

I have SPT struts and springs sitting in my room. Waiting to get cash for STi top mounts... I'll be ecstatic about my car again when those go on. I know how you feel, no more roly-poly around corners.

I think she got them all resized, Jason. I'll let her post them, though. I've seen only a few of them, myself. I'll post some of the pictures I took, too. The STi was absolutely burried Sunday morning!

If anyone wants to upgrade to the newer color from the sissy old one, I'll be happy to take the old style off your hands...how about this, I'll even pay for the shipping.
