It's a 1992 Legacy turbo 5 spd with 156k miles on her. This past year I have done over $1100 worth of engine and electrical work including oil pump, water pump, timing belt, new brakes, new tires, diff and tranny oil changes. The car is 100% stock and has not been modded it has been my winter car so that I could get my STi off the road.
It does have some issues (of course). It needs a muffler, the automatic seatbelts dont work (stupid idea to begin with), the paint is chipping off the spoiler (tell-tail sign its a legacy turbo) and the transmission likes to pop out of 5th gear when you deccelerate on the highway. HOWEVER, I managed to scoop up a spare 5 spd legacy transmission that's a direct replacement and will throw it in the deal for free. With the transmission; if you keep your hand on the shifter when you decelerate, the car stays in gear and everything is fine. If you take your foot off the gas and slow down, then step on the gas without your hand on the shifter, it will pop out. I've gone two hours straight on the highway and not had it pop out.
There are some superficial rust spots over the rear wheel well and two more the passenger doors. The underneath however is solid as is the interior and trunk though the power antenna has been replaced. Oh and for some reason the silver paint is coming off the rims
$2000 or best reasonable offer....I'm also willing to trade straight-up for a 22B if you have one.
the car is located in New Hampshire but I dont have a problem meeting someone halfway somewhere.
Thanks,
Stu
