Momo Steering Wheel

Post by originalcyn »

Who's sporting a momo steering wheel? i'm curious what everyone used for a hub. I think the part that is supposed to work is K7306. But i wanted to verify that this hub works and that i can still use my horns and things like that if i do end up switching.

Can you get a quick detatch hub for a stock wheel? I love my 05 wrx wheel but it sure would be nice to detach it from time to time without tools.

This is the closest thing i could find about it (from a thread on nasioc):

the momo part number is K7306, however many people are using NRG hubs and quick releases - if thats your thing.

as for making a stock wheel quick release you would need to make a plate attach the quick release or drill holes to mount it then it would stick out a bit from the column.
NRG makes a nice thin release unit
