where to find a turbo legacy?

sorry, im new to looking into subarus. but i have been looking at legacys and have never seen one w/ turbo for sale. are they very rare? or can u put a turbo in any legacy? and if so, about how much does it cost?

If you want turbo'd power, your best bet is to find a 91-94 turbo legacy. It's got the most potential and they can be found for not much money. There's even one on eBay right now:

You just have to keep your eye out for one, it took me a while to find the one I bought, but the price was right, and in very decent shape. If there are a lot of used car lots in your area, you might want to keep an eye on them. You might even be able to find a dealer who will find one for you at auction...

You can find them for under $3500, I bought mine for $2500 as-is from a Subaru dealer, and havn't put a whole lot into it so far...

My brother just found one with body damage for somewhere around $1500, I think he said it was in either Eastern Washington or Idaho, but he wasn't sure...
