Ok so I have read it a few times and I have a question. On the Neutral switch wiring im a bit confused. So you cut B15 off the manual cars body harness which is a two wire connector consisting of termnal 3 and 1, then you cut the old automatic trans harness off the actual transmisson number B15 which is a 12 wire connector. Then you wire togther the manual 3 and 1 termnal to the automatic 4 and 1 termnal. My questions are does it matter which one goes to what and in the photo why is it showing 4 wires off the manual trans harness side? Shouldnt there just be two??

JC/Legacy777 gave me this info during my swap:
Really you need to answer one question....do I care about having the starter interlock circuit wired up so I can't start the car without depressing the clutch all the way in? If the answer is "I don't care about the starter interlock circuit", then the wiring is very easy.

You need to jumper pins 11 & 12 on the B15 connector that plugged into the trans. This can be done by cutting off the connector on the transmission and then using a crimp connector to connect those corresponding pins.

You need to wire up the reverse lights & neutral switch from the MT. If you can get a hold of a chassis side connectors, you can again wire these guys up through the transmission plug you cut off the AT. This would make all the connections plug & play.

If you can't get the MT connectors for the neutral & reverse lights, just use some waterproof spade connectors connected to the AT plug you removed from the trans.

The only remaining items that need to be addressed is to snip the one wire I talk about for the neutral switch. I believe it's pin 10 on the B58 connector. It's the blue connector on the lower left side of the driver's dash.

You need to remove the TCU, remove key interlock controller (as you mentioned), and you need to snip the wire going to the MT/AT identifier pin on the ECU.

That's it....there's really not much to it.
I didn't cut the AT connectors on the chassis side, but did cut off one of the connectors from the AT transmission, as noted above.

The 12 wire connector i need off the automatic trans harness is the one that goes to the valve body (drivers side)
I don't want to make a mistake.

To answer you question above, no it doesn't matter which wire goes to where. It's just completing the circuit, and the electrons can flow either way through the switch.

Hmm, not sure. If you wired everything correctly and it still doesn't work, I'd verify that you have 12v on one of the wires going to the backup switch. You could try jumpering 12v to the wire going to the reverse lights to make sure they work.
