Part # help please: Pass. Side head rear camshaft cover

Post by davew833 »

Can someone tell me what the part number for the EJ22T passenger side head rear camshaft cover is? it's the part that has the turbo return connections for the coolant and oil and is held on to the back of the head with 4 bolts. My Subaru parts guy can't find it on the diagram. (I think I overtightened the bolts and cracked mine!)

The first two pictures in this other thread show it clearly- I can't figure out how to attach pics to this thread.

Thanks mike-tracy... I took mine off and looked at it again. It was leaking like crazy after I re-sealed it and I had heard some pops when I tightened it so I assumed it had cracked. It's not cracked, it just didn't seat properly. There's some scoring on the inside surfaces where it mates with the head but I think I can make it work. I'm sure I'll get back to you if it doesn't- thanks!
