+1
But since this isn't NASIOC, I'll tell you that it won't fit easily. You'll have take to 'make it fit' and it won't be pretty>>think Sledge and Firewall 'manipulation'.
$75 isn't that good of a deal on an IC anyway...just wait for another one from '06-07 WRX or '06-'08 Forester XT to show up on here or NASIOC.

Yeah I just read a lot of forums in here on it . Thanks for the tips.. I think I will wait for a slanty
Re: o5 wrx intercooler
But, if you want one (02-05 wrx TMIC) for $10 + shipping, I've got one for you (I actually have 3 of them). While most guys had to do the firewall manipulation, a couple of guys didn't have to and I don't recall what made their install firewall-manipulation-free.

Re: o5 wrx intercooler
^^I think they had to slice down their throttle bodies a bit. I'd rather do that than hammer the firewall, personally.

Yes, some did shave their throttle bodies but there are others who seem like they just stuck it on there without having to alter their throttle bodies or their firewalls.
There is a possibility that on some ss's and TW's the location of the throttle body in relation to the firewall is different. I say that because one day i was working on both my '93 ss and '94 TW in that particular area and one of the cars (I don't recall which one) had about a 1/2" more clearance than the other. I remember thinking, "Huh! I wonder if this is the reason why some have to bash in their firewalls in while others don't have to." I don't know if it was because of the year or one was a wagon and the other a sedan but there was definitely a difference.
And, like you, Mike, I'd rather shave down the throttle body and some of the TMIC outlet rather than bash the firewall.
