Will 01 Outback LL Bean seats fit in a 93 Legacy wagon?

Post by SWRT »

Hey guys. I have a 93 Legacy wagon. I found some
LL Bean leather, tan seats in a junked 01 Outback the
other day. I bought the fronts, but is there any chance
the rears will fit in my wagon? I'm thinking it would
definitely take some adjustment, but can they be
made to fit? Has anyone tried this?

The junk yard wants $50 for the rears, but I they
wont do refunds anymore. Just junkyard credit and
they rarely have Subaru's.

I'm fairly sure if they are dimensionally correct then they'll fit. You'll Will have to drill and tap the bolt holes for the side mountings.

I'm jealous that you have an LL Bean in your yard. Is the h6 engine still there?

Sweet :D Maybe I'll just get them then
and if, worse case scenario, they dont
fit I guess I could always sell them.

Most of the H6 is there haha I think last
time I checked it was missing the alternator
and the AC compressor. And it was covered
in oil.

I got 2000 Legacy limited seats in my car. Driver's seat is powered and both are heated. You'd have to switch the seat buckle to the old one so you can still use the seatbelts. The bolts are a little tricky but they do go in with a little work. So yes it is possible and not all that hard

Yeah, I know the fronts will fit. I have 99 RS
seats in my other wagon currently. I'm just
wondering if the rear seats from the wagon
will fit into my wagon.

Oops sorry I forgot you said you already had the fronts in. As for the rear, I imagine they'd fit. Subaru kept a lot of parts similar over the years or only did minor changes so they fit with a little modification. Little hard work and I'm sure you could fit them no problem. Would look pretty damn good too

I can check the fitment for you I have the same seats in my current parts car. I'll take measurements for the mounting points and the height and width
