Quick question

Post by THAWA »

I'm putting the intake manifold back on (finally :D) But I have a question. There's a little sensor or something part number 14774aa351 that i disconnected when I took it apart. My question is, where do the lines go. There's one coming from the throttle body area and another right by the sensor. BAsically, does the throttle body line go to the top thing or the bottom thing, if you were looking at it mounted on the manifold.
TIA

also what color is the new knock sensor white or gray?

Isnt that the purge solenoid? One line goes from the top of the throttle body right near the throttle plate. The other goes to a hard line that eventually goes to the charcoal canister.

Why does he get thanks, the images dont show what your lookin for.

The tube that goes to the hard line is only 2 inches long and makes a 180&#176 turn. The other passes near the IAC and PCV before connecting to the lone nipple right on the top.

there's gotta be a pic in there of what he's looking for. I know I could piece together where the CPV goes and how it's hooked up by all those pics.

Not saying you don't deserve a thanks though

Maybe I just didn't word my question right. I was looking for where they connect to the solenoid. Not where the tubes go from the solenoid. Your info was helpful but wasn't what I was looking for. Didn't mean to sound rude :\

this was the pic tha told me where the lines went. this one helps aswell
