Tranny would get stuck in gear.

During the BNW meet today I was having a few problems with my tranny. First problem is that all the gears ended up getting stuck and I had to pull really hard to get them out if they'd even come. Then after that it didn't wanna let me put it back in any gear. The first time this happened today when it got stuck I eventually got it out and heard a clunk that's unusual. I know this tranny is getting pretty tired but I havent had a problem like this before.

Mine did that once but it was really bad, that trans ended up locking up driving 65 mph,catastrophic failure. Had a hard time getting it off the highway, big 4x4 diesel had a hard time pulling that 3200 lb car that wouldn't roll. Mine was really bad and was giving me problems for 25000 miles before BANG. It was also about the same mileage as yours.

Yea it sucks, especially in heavy traffic. Getting it in and out of gear is almost impossible. Just a matter of time before it gets stuck in gear or wont let you in any gear at all. I wonder what's causing it. I already knew a tranny swap was in the future... I was just hoping it'd be fine for daily driving until tax season.
