Continuous clicking from rear right..
I just installed my coilovers this weekend. My rear right is making a clicking sound, it increases with speed, but what's even more weird is its louder with throttle. I can be going 60, it's quite clicking, and I hit the throttle a little bit and the clicking is loud, I let off it goes back to semi quite. It sounds like on a bike if you put a playing card in the spokes. I check the whole wheel and there is nothing rubbing or touching anywhere. I'm thinking it might be an axle or bearing?

I would look at the cv joint. It is at a different angle now.

Did it do this before installing the coilovers? If not, you've likely got something rubbing. I'd suggest jacking up the car and rotating the tires to see if you can determine what is rubbing.

Re: Continuous clicking from rear right..
Never happened before, I also checked for rubbing or catching and it's ALL clear. Nothing is rubbing I even raised it up a bit. It doesn't do it when I spin the tire off the ground, only when there is weight on the car and only when i'm accelerating forwards. It is quiet when i'm off the throttle, but loud when accelerating in gear. I'm thinking an axle may be blown... or something to do with the differential or something. It's a 91' with VLSD and 5spd.

Re: Continuous clicking from rear right..
It could be an axle. Something may not be tight and rubbing only under acceleration. Have you looked for any signs of wear that could indicate rubbing?
If you have ramps, put the rear end in the air with the suspension loaded and check for spots that could be rubbing.
If you shake the cv joints/axles do they feel loose?

Re: Continuous clicking from rear right..
Yeah, the axle moves inside of the boot, moves up and down, so it's like it's loose inside of the rubber boot closest to the rear diff. Put the car on ramps and nothing found. In air, if I spin the wheel by hand, I can hear the noise very very slightly, but can't pin point it.. it's weird.

Re: Continuous clicking from rear right..
I've seen lots of play in the rear cvs on my own cars but doesn't seem to effect it. 700 k on one and still original rear axels, but there are failures but I haven't seen many.
