Went through a GIANT puddle, now i have a lighter clutch?

Post by 94Turbro »

Like I said we got a freak rainstorm here in aurora that totally overwhelmed the storm drains. long story short my 94 SS beasted through 2 feet of water only to come out on the other side with a much lighter clutch peddle action. My only idea is that water mightve gotten in the Clutch fluid, would that make the peddle lighter though? It still engages and disengages just fine but the peddle feels about 3-5lbs lighter.

Cheers,
Miles

The clutch system should be sealed. You can check the slave cylinder rod and the master reservoir to see if anything looks funky.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you.
