what fuel pump can i get from say napa or autozone thats compatible to the walbro gss341

I don't know of any that would be comparable. Are you just looking for a "stock" replacement or one that flows like the walbro?

something better than stock but that i can pick up at a parts store

For the cost and ease, the Walbro pump is really the best option.

"Better than stock" and "can pick up at a parts store" are mutually exclusive terms, at least for a reliable Japanese car.
