I agree with mike, If you dropped an inch or two, it'd look really nice. As of right now, it's not too bad. I hate the height of my girlfriend's 93 SS with my old 17s on it, but we haven't decided on weather or not to lower it.

I'd like to recommend a set of 04 STI Suspension. I'm very happy with my set and the driveability is really good. They'll provide around a 1/2" - 1" drop all the way around too.

How easy is the swap? I'm hoping for more of a bolt on application with as little modification as possible.

this is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! although the thing that would keep me away is cost of tires for that size. I will admit im a bit on the dark side for tire prices and my prior statement is probably completely mad.

It's a VERY easy process, I just don't remember fully on the front tophats. I think they're the same.
Awesome! Do you remember how much they were and where you got them?

I got one of those deals I couldn't pass up. I know they usually go for around 400 but I scored mine for 75 because the guy had no idea of history on the set I bought. They also came without tophats, so just struts and springs. I was able to check out the shocks on the spot. He knew they were good tho. I've had my set for about 2 years now, and am still having no issues with them. I absolutely love my STI struts.
It may seem lame or nerdy, but I literally scout the main subaru forums (this site, rs25, and nasioc) for over an hour every day before work just looking for great deals. Also prowl eBay religiously.
There are times when I buy parts just to flip them as well.

I need to do that once I get closer to actually lowering it. I really can't afford 400 especially since I bought the whole car for only $300 haha. I will have to scout like you once the time comes. I would definitely have to jump on a deal like yours though!! Thanks for all of your great info!!
