Frost and condensation on the inside?
So, my fiancee's 93 L wagon gets frosted and foggy on the inside of the windows and windshield overnight when its cold.
My other Leggys only get frosted or foggy on the exterior.
Is this indicative of a leak? Kinda confused about how to troubleshoot this one.

Re: Frost and condensation on the inside?
OH! That makes much more sense; I wonder what's holding moisture inside the car? Once I get half a chance to pull it into the garage and check it out I'll post my findings. Thanks for the quick replies!!

Well I would say its the sunroof but you don't have one with the L correct? Just keep the defrost on, it'll do the trick.

Re: Frost and condensation on the inside?
Right, no sunroof. Oh, the defroster does take care of it eventually... but all the while I have frost condensing into water drops on the inside of my windshield, then running down and dripping onto the dash. Then if I don't wipe the interior side of the windshield up before leaving, I have water droplets all up in mah vision path. It's.... suboptimal.
I don't think the car even has any items in it that I know about. I wonder what's causing it.... we just bought it last month and it passed inspection and will be registered soon, and she still has the 2013 Corolla so it's not like she has to deal with it right now anyway.
I also have to replace the thermostat in this wagon before it'd be worth driving, takes forever to get out of warmup mode and uses more gas than it should.
Gonna be a bit before I can figure that one out, this car's just parked for now anyway and not gonna have any garage time until January it seems.

Re: Frost and condensation on the inside?
There's a drain tube (for the AC I think?) That runs through firewall on the passenger side. If it pops out, you'll get your carpet wet up under the dash from stuff splashing in. I had that once.

Re: Frost and condensation on the inside?
Could also be the plastic "vapor barrier" behind the door cards, or a door rubber seal that the window isn't mating flush with.

Re: Frost and condensation on the inside?
Yeah, check the AC drain line first. If it's good, I would suggest running around everywhere with the defrost or AC on to help dry out the air in the car. If you can pull it into the garage and put a space heater in it to help dry things out overnight that could help. Be careful about the space heater so that it doesn't burn anything.
