Fusible Link Gauge?

Post by sdlmoab »

I have a 94' Legacy wagon, and I burnt out the fusible link under the hood when I accidentally crossed the cables while jumping my car. The fusible link is black in color.

I know they sell OEM replacements, but they are a little pricey for a piece of wire.

They sell various gauge fusible link wire at my local auto store...

If someone knows the gauge of the fusible link in my car, it would be a big help!

If I'm reading this diagram correctly, it should be 25 amps
