MadDad dp fit?

Post by 93Leg-c »

Does anyone know if a MadDad v2 catted downpipe is a bolt on? If any mods have to be made where would they have to be made?

This is an OLD thread. I'd like to revive it, because I'd like to know the answer. Let me add a different twist to the question. Can anybody tell us if a full length 2004 - 2007 Subaru WRX downpipe fits the first generation Legacy SS or Turbo Wagon with Manual Transmission and also with Automatic Transmission? Haven't I heard of somebody using the TurboXS Downpipe on one of our First Gen Legacies?

All of them bolt on, it's just a matter of having a midpipe modified to fit. Matt Monson showed pictorially that the stock flanges on an 02-07 WRX/STI downpipe has the midpipe hanging lower than ideal, but again the welder can modify to compensate for that.
