Interior Swap: From Beige to Black

Post by shoefean »

Ever since i got my car I've been on the hunt for a completer interior and the day has finally come. Found a complete SS part out for $300 with everything included minus the carpet and steering wheel.
here's how it looked before:

Here we have the beautiful interior donor car. This car is to be fitted with fender flares and tracked.

I don't have the SS trunk ready to put on yet so i had to paint the old beige deck lid black to match my new interior.

And of the whole swap, aside from getting the manual belts, this is my favorite piece!

Nice documentation of the swap!

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of the tan interior either, but I won't be able to find another car with interior in as good of shape! Yeah I like that little shift pattern emblem too. I haven't been able to find a good used MT shifter surround, but have something in the works in the near future.
