removed the flutes in the top and bottom grille.. and in the scoop.
Painted the grille
put another coat of that rain-x headlight restorer on. That stuff is a God send! Also did the tail lights. For the second coat rub enough on to cover the whole light. Rub in a circular motion but leave some residue on the light. Let it dry, and then wipe it off with a dry shop towel. Make sure you rub hard when wiping it off.
I made a new huge airbox and intake today. Airbox is more than twice the size. Intake hose is 4 inches. The intake works so well that after 30 mins of driving, the airbox was cold to the touch. Everything cost about 12 bucks at Home Depot. Here are some pics.
4 inch intake hose. 10 feet of it was 5 bucks at Home Depot. I only ended up using what you see.
The sheet of metal I used to make the air box. 6 bucks at Home Depot.
Took a grinder to the stock intake hole and made it 5 inches to fit the new pipe.
nice work man! lol at johns car just sitting in the garage, it needs to get back on the street! i finally picked up my legacy, put a few pics up on this board if ya wanna check it out, we need to go on a cruise soon!
-Looks like the car is coming along nicely. I've been wanting to go to Palmer Lake. Maybe we can meet up there?

-I'd rather loose by a mile because I built my own car, than win by an inch cause someone else built it for me. Your car, is your story, so don't let someone else write the book. ~Moog

Yeah, I painted it. Had the idea rolling around for a couple of years ever since I wanted to buy a legacy. Going to do better in the future, but it's pretty good for now. Thanks man!

For sure man!
*update*
I forgot to show everyone the front of the "cold air" pipe.
Going to use another one on the other side to help cool the ice box/reservoir for my AWIC Kit.
I was parked beside your car a few months ago in a garage downtown. Didn't clue in it was you till I saw the pic showing the painted tail lights. Liked how it looked and wondered how it would look on mine. Lol I took a pic to compare the differences between mine and yours. Looks even better in person

Pretty sure I blew a headgasket. Either way... ended up buying a 2013 Focus. (Pics to come) Still have the Subaru, but it's being put on hold for right now.
