How hard would it be to swap an N/A to a turbo sedan engine?
Like the title says, someone in my town is selling a turbo sedan with a blown engine (no idea how big the extent of "blown" is) but wouldn't all I need to do is take the turbo parts from the TS and add them to the N/A? Because I thought the 92 TS' were also SOHC, just like my 93 N/A? Has anyone done this before?

What's the condition of the SS? If it's in good condition why not just rebuild what ever is wrong?
If you wanna transplant to your shell, the easiest and right way is to swap both front harnesses (maybe chassis too depending on transmission style. But that's a lot of work if you are new to cars (or even experienced.)
A little more info will help out.

Couple people on here did it. Rewire your cam and crank wires (they are reversed polarity I believe), run n/a ecu that matches the engine and n/a MAF, and that's mostly it. Can't remember any names ATM, as it was a few years back, but you should be able to find it with some creative searching.

For clarification, are you wanting to swap the n/a engine into the turbo chassis or vice versa, rebuilt turbo engine into the n/a chassis?

Vise versa. Turbo to N/A chassis.

Re: How hard would it be to swap an N/A to a turbo sedan eng
I swapped in a turbo motor into my n/a chassis. It's really not that difficult; there are a couple threads floating around with information. Essentially you need to swap the front crossmember, relocate the coolant temp sensor wiring harness to the driver's side and reuse that with the turbo motor. You'll need to add the wiring and boost related sensors on the passenger strut tower and swap the positive leads for the crank & cam sensors at the ECU.
That was a very over simplification of what needs to be done. I'd encourage you to see what you can find from other posts and if you still have questions or can't find what you're looking for let us know.
