Kimo asked me to make this a sticky, so I figured I'd create a thread first to give a little background.
The ECU I/O pages in the factory manual are good and have most of the information needed, but when I did my Link install I checked every pin on the ECU. I made a spreadsheet with that information and it's a little better than the factory manual. The pin labeling in this spreadsheet is only for the turbo Legacy. The non-turbo Legacy will have the cam & crank sensor wires swapped and missing the turbo related sensors.

Re: First Gen Turbo Legacy ECU I/O Spreadsheet
Thanks Josh. This will help a lot for anyone doing any diagnosing of sensors. It's a lot easier and faster to find the wires you're looking for than using the fsm because the fsm is not in numerical order or even separated by each connector.

Re: First Gen Turbo Legacy ECU I/O Spreadsheet
Thanks a lot Josh! There may be an ej205 head swap in my future so I can run the bugeye WRX ECU whenever I decide my Robtune isn't enough . Having a chart like this, especially in a spreadsheet and not just an image, will help a lot. Unless Rob gets his Z32 MAF and a step-up injector option by then, which would be even more awesome.

Josh, do you have a pinout for the ej20g ecu?

That should work. I believe I just need the 4 spark signals.
