3.3L direct injection engine mated to a Lexus plug-in hybrid motor expected to be around 375 HP and better fuel economy to boot.
If only they could pull it off with a lower price tag than the first SVX was. Original sticker price ranged between $24k and $36k depending on year and trim. Which, in today's money, would be $40k and $60k!! So I guess if they manage to sell it for $35k or less that would be impressive. But I wouldn't count on it. A 2015 STI is between $35K and $50K.

I seriously will never purchase a new Subaru. All new cars seem to be pieces of scum that suck money out of people and look like sh*t while they're doing it:/

The ones they have out now that are 'new' will be old then. Hehe. But seriously. Ughhh. The new foresters? Lord have mercy on this wicked perverse generation. Haha.

Say it ain't so!!!
Also that new SVX sounds okay. But a fancy hybrid sports coupe is not something built to be affordable. If anything the hybrid power train and performance will be used as justification for a $50-60k price tag. But I feel if the SVX is gonna be that much anyway, this fits with its original high-tech/futury image well enough. Not that I'd ever buy one. Or any new Suby aside from the XV (there seems to be a trend there).

05 Outback 2.5XT 5spd -- Now the wife can have her SUV and get in on the turbo Legacy goodness at the same time.
That's just hideous, concept or not. my subaru purchase years end with 09 for the legacy, 07 for an impreza, and 08 for the forester. Unless it's an XV.
Agreed even though I can't afford anything newer than 01 lol. Depending on model of course.
