The way up:


Parked at the summit of the pass, in front of the 1882 Section House. This structure once housed the railway employees that fought the snow to keep the line passable in the winter. Now, you can rent it out during the winter months like a big cabin!

Looking back the way we came, toward South Park.

Taking on water at the Baker Tank. This was used to fill the boilers on the steam engines that climbed this pass until 1937.
