grrrrrr

Post by Legacy777 »

Went to the museum of natural science yesterday with the girl I'm seeing and her friend.....come back out to a nice freaking ding in the car......f#$kers!! It's on the driver's rear door, right where the door angles up......it's pretty obvious where it's at.

I'm at the point I'm just going to take it to the guy around here that does door ding repair and tell him to go buck nutty....and just tell me what it's goin to cost......not sure when that'll happen though....mabe last weekend of jan....have to wait and see.

freakin people.....saw it when we were heading to dinner....rather bummed out during dinner....

I hate inconsiderate bastards. Sounds by the height that it was an SUV.

It sucks because I have to park my car so damn far away to avoid the lazy jerks (those denters are too lazy to walk) that in bad weather I get very cold or wet. I won't even approch the malls at Christmas time. Very inconvenient.

I'm going to be scared of the same thing after I get my car painted this summer. It will probably be in the neighborhood of a $2000 paint job, all dents will be removed, all the moldings replaced, etc. etc.

And after all this is done, I'm going to be really worried about idiots banging it up and bumping into it with their behemoth SUV's. I'm probably gonna do the parking-all-the-way-in-the-back thing, as well as covering it if it's outside.

I'm also pretty concerned right now about driving my wedge as a daily. The more I learn about XT's, the more I find that mine (a nonturbo 4WD) is VERY rare. With its scarcity and low miles, I really wish I could just park it when I need to and keep miles off of it, and not have to worry about someone ploughing into me and totalling the car...

yeah....pretty sure it was an suv....think there was an explorer parked next to me.

The thing was I parked in BFE when we went in.....the amount of people that showed up increased and filled around me.

That sucks!

About 2 months ago, someone lightly sideswiped my sisters Legacy. The black molding is scuffed, the paint is scuffed on the fender and front passenger door, and there is a pretty good sized dent in the lower part of the door. No note at all. The really funny part is that it happened in the church parking lot....WTF??!!???

Call me anal, but I take down plate #'s of any SUVs or cars that look like they belong to families or old people when I have to park next to them.

i don't really care about door dings, its part of owning a car. I DO hate SUVs though, and half the cars on the road are them. I always am soo anal about opening my doors into other cars. I've got those ugly door protectors on my doors.
Strangely, i only have 1 door ding. Oh, and one motorcycle ding that i haven't finished repairing.
