ok ive already been to hell and back about the apc crap....trust me i dont like apc a bit and im embarrased and disheartend to have that on my car but the guy that installed my tach (which i dont have anymore) "assumed" that i wanted that on my roll call so he just stuck it on there at the time there was only an sti logo there. but if it helps as soon as i get a new clarion decal cut the apc is comin off
i accidentally made a new post with this same subject sorry
So...hows your cokebottle today?

correct me if i'm wrong, but bass is a result of vibration and bouncing wavelengths. Facing your subwoofers into the cabin will result in lower effective bass tone then facing them toward the rear of the trunk. This is because the cosine frequency wave thingie have longer to travel, allowing its wave to reach its peaks.
greensubie wrote:i know i get less bass but i dont really care much for overpowering bass anyway it more just for looks.....well when its done anyway
tsk tsk tsk.. again, all show, no go.
The key here is efficiency. you can use less power to make more bass using a different method. In addition, with your selection, you lose funtion of your rear seats. 4 does is for mo hoes mang!

Jason, you so smot man ....actually you beat me to it, I was getting all reved up to comment and then I read your post
and to greensubie, you better start saving now because at 40-80/hour (depending on where you go) you are looking at a min of 2 weeks to fab all that fiberglass up. and thats to a point where you can carpet it instead of getting it perfect for paint. I had my own business making custom pods and custom boxes for a while but it never really took off, I have to get a pic up here of my box that I built for my 87 GL. I had 4 10's in a fully custom finberglass enclosure hanging upside down from the roof in the back, it was very cool but sound like ass so I got rid of it. wood=good sound, fiberglass=bad sound.
