Mmm.. loud.

Hehe, I just ordered a set of Hella Dual-Trumpet Horns w/ Compressor. 118dB. These bastards are gonna be loud. Anyone here picked these up, or heard them? I'm hoping to scare other cars out of my way if necessary. :D

Dunno. Who's Josh? Heh. All Hella horns are red, btw. This one is actual trumpets with an actual external compressor, as opposed to the more common "Supertones" which are pretty much flat.

I had a PA system in my '84 wagon that also made animal noises and police siren sounds.

I want to get one of those old style barooga horns from lke a 70s Caddy or something. One of the recommendation that the Colorado Hill Climb Association had for the rally cars was that we all have sirens so they can hear us coming. Since we're faster than their American V8s and much quiter we scare the crap out of some of the spectators. They settled on recommended muffler removal. I still want to get lke 10 Supertones mounted on a light bar though. That would be super funny.
