1994 legacy wagon sport 175k ish miles
I'm technically selling the car for the motor, exhaust, electronics etc. The body is rotting out. its bad but salvageable with a little TLC and some new front fenders. The doors roof and hood are in really good shape and I fixed the rust on the hatch already so that looks new.
I started rust repair on the rear quarters and one side has new sheet metal and 1 coat of unsanded bondo.
Motor:
-This has the fully rebuilt ej22t long block from my old silver wagon some of you may know about.
-This motor has about 10 thousand miles on it since rebuild.
-It was completely rebuilt by a machinist, the cylinder walls re-honed, all new factory pistons, new rings, a 3 angle valve job on the heads all new head bolts, new gaskets, the works. This cost me just labor $1500 on the motor. I spent total over 5k on the motor alone.
-Also, I purchased all oem Subaru parts, new oil pump, new timing belt tensioner, new water pump, new alternator, new plugs, wires, coilpack. basically the whole engine is new.
Notes on Motor:
I have never run the motor non-intercooled. I have a WRX setup on it with custom piping.
Exhaust:
-NEW vf-34
-Full CES exhaust with the split down pipe ceremic coated and full stainless 3 inch back to the straight muffler (With hi-flow cat - passes emissions!).
There is an exhaust leak between the crossover pipe and the up-pipe. might have this fixed before selling but might not.
Electronics:
-fuel cut defencer
-Avc-r with the custom in dash installation
-Alpine cd/mp3 deck
-Pioneer Coaxials
-Clifford alarm remote start combo with turbo timer included. (no horn on the alarm but fully installed)
- Brand new 5yr battery (bought last weekend)
Brakes:
- nothing special, new front and rear rotors, the rears are not installed, new in a box along with brand new e-brake shoes in the box.
Suspension:
The suspension is stock although it looks like the struts have been replaced already at some point prior to my ownership.
Interior:
This car is clean! I'm not kidding, its clean and none of the panels are bitched up or missing or broken.
Wheels:
-Winter wheels are factory 5 spoke with all season bridgestones with 25% tread on them).
Transmission:
-The tranny is good. In the snow under very high boost (18lbs) I think the clutch pack to the rear slips a little and you can hear a whining sound. It has done this since I've owned the car. The rear wheels never loose traction and its only under extreme hard acceleration from a stop. You never hear a peep in the dry or in the rain.
