torque-bind

Post by 12340987 »

good thing I came accross that page. My mother has a 96 impreza, and it has the exact same tranny/engine as my 96 legacy, and it seems like her car is having that binding problem. I've been worried about it.
Is it something I should take care of? Never done much tranny work, does it take a long time? He mentions a "watermelon sized housing," would that be the center differential? What is the housing that i'd have to replace?
