This image does not do it justice. I assembled this and it looked so good I brought it with me to work to show everyone! No joke

Im so excited to get these installed. Cant wait!

I swear Id almost hang this on my wall. I thought about it and with the addition of wheels on the bottom and a cushion/backrest on top this would be one incredibly cool chair! I just wish my camera was better.

Image

That is rear STI GC8 top mount with 94 impreza spring plate and rubber seat with Whiteline springs and AGX struts. Im pretty sure this is the ultimate low cost combo for us. Ill gather up part numbers and tell you guys how the install goes.

BTW, please look at my GR2 for sale. These are pretty new, for the serious buyer I will send you the link on the TireRack site showing the date

CLICK ME NOW

Im also going to be installing the same combo on the front (using the impreza sti mounts with the legacy parts).

I did. My suspension modifications are extensive on the specific car so I cant give an impression of the items alone. Between the frame and the ground there are more parts replaced than original.

I used whiteline replacement "control" Legacy BC/BF springs. AGX Impreza struts. STI Impreza "gc8" strut tops. The hardware between the front strut and the strut top is original. The hardware between the rear strut and strut top is for an impreza from the dealer.

Ciper,

Does it have a bouncy ride over undulations?

It does have some bounce right now, but thats mostly because I have low profile tires with very hard sidewalls and the stiffness turned up. Im running slipstreams with 215 45 16 pumped to 36PSI.

Ciper,

I have the Eibach Pro's and they are bouncy.

It depends on what you mean by bouncy.

If its a continued up and down, the most likely
Your tires are too soft to match the suspension
Your strut tops are too soft
Your struts aren't dampening enough

Or is it a single hard bounce?

How much do the Flat Out springs lower your car? Is it more than 1.5 inches?

he said that they were bc/bf flatouts.

As far as I know, whiteline only makes control springs for the 1st gen legacies

Do the flat outs lower the car even more than the control springs?

lol. . . but you've already gotten one of your doors stuck on a curb. And you've been lowered only 1.5 inches.

That was a big typo. Sorry guys. I went back to the catalog and saw control but typed flat out for some reason  Give me a break though, the response to the post was an entire YEAR later!

The drop was moderate, Id guess near 1.1 inch?
