West Coast Subaru Show 6
Has anyone seen the other message boards postings on this? A few of us enthusiasts are putting the show on this year. It will not have the affiliation of one particular club this year. It will be a joint effort from many different groups. We are inviting any and all Subaru groups from across the US and Canada. It will be held in Northern Oregon this year. Sometime in late July. We are trying to find a venue that will support camping, show and shine and a rallyX. It will be a weekend event( Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Show on Saturday with RallyX on Sunday.
You can post here or follow this link to a poll on the USMB.

"West Coast Subaru Show"
Did they move Utah? J/K
It had been in Washington state the 5 previous times. We are trying to include more people and also coordinate sites and such. Be kind of tough to drive to SLC and check out venues. Portland and surrounding areas is still an all day event to go and check out sites and then drive back home.
PK Davis from http://www.ozified.com will be attending from San Diego. Maybe you guys can caravan up and pick up people as you go. Would be one heck of a train by the time you reached Portland.
We have had attendees from South Dakota, Iowa, Illinios and Indiana so far. There is always a trophy for most miles travelled.
If enough people show interest in coming and caravanning I think more people will come on board. There are people all along the I-5 corridor that are coming and you guys could tie in along the way.
Besides, it would give you a great chance to show off that rig of yours.

Too far for me even if it would only take me a little over two days to get there. Call me lazy.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

I think Ill go.
I just have to have one of my engine swaps complete by then. Hell, I might even drive my XT6 up. Right now my beater legacy has had a BHG for the last 5 months so I dont like to travel more than 200 miles away. My other legacy needs new tires, which Im waiting to get until I get an alignment, which Im waiting to get after my cross member is dropped for the engine swap
Probably by then Ill be driving my wagon with the turbo engine and the water intercooler but still on the stock computer with FCD and AFC. My budget did include a stand alone computer but the extra engine work I did changed the schedule slightly.

The people who keep saying this dont know how to tune it. You cant use the AFC to adjust the entire range. The MIN/MAX throttle settings have to be above the swith between open and closed loop.
In other words it only lets you adjust WOT, which is the only place you normally need to adjust anyways.
The interpolation between the MIN/MAX also causes a problem, so you set them as close together as possible.
