Just finished both installs yesterday... If anyone needs help installing either, let me know... Its awful simple, just a lot of tedious soldering in a tight space...
Anyway, if someone needs them, I can take pics of the mess I made of the ecu harness
On a side note, I noticed that the wire labeled for the map sensor on the pinouts does not exist in my ecu harness - I was always under the impression we had both maf and map sensors???

We do have both sensors. It's called a pressure sensor in the wiring diagrams

Re: safc II install AND J&S safeguard ultra install
Are there any online instructions for it so we can review and comment on the install?

I'm not sure why but the subaru instructions are eluding me at the moment. This is the exact same http://www.jandssafeguard.com/EclipseInstall.html just ignore the tps and map wires.
The hardest part was getting access to the ecu and getting it all unplugged then all put back in nice.
theres only a few wires for install
-an actual wired ground ( not sheetmetal)
-key on ( must have power when cranking) I used an add a circuit off a 20 amp in the fuse panel
- tap into knock sensor signal wire
- cut ignition one and ignition 2 signal wires, and out j&s unit inline
- add a boost reference hose to the intake
I was at a loss for a good place to install the unit. So I sacrificed the console between the seats. There was just enough wiring provided to make it all the way.
