My mechanic has some software that has service manuals, recalls, bulletins, parts, pricing, etc. all updated monthly. Amazing stuff, but not cheap for soemone who doesn't fix cars for a living.

alldata. you can get a subscription at
www.alldata.com has part numbers and everything. It's what service departments use, and almost all shops.

I have a copy of the one Subaru distributes, it's called FAST I think...it's pretty bad...as in very difficult to navigate. I use the .pdf's I downloaded from here much more than I use the FAST stuff....
and it's Windows compatable...

I have the complete BC/BF parts microfiche... If anybody has the means to scan these hundreds of pages' worth of microfiche into a computer and would be willing to do so for the common good maybe I could lend them for the scanning. It's 7 sheets, each with something like 16x13 pages.

Call me nerdy. . . but it sounds like a couple of workstations or old servers.

Its what the new Sun Blades replaced.
We should check on Nasioc, they have alot more members and may have it already. Someone start a thread in the Service forum.

Das right!
I still say they have one of the neatest logos around. Truly universal in its creation.

we have star office on the other older comp here, I didn't know they were that popular, but yes their logo is cool.

Let's put it this way. . . . Sun Microsystems is to the large-scale enterprise-level data management world as Microsoft is to the desktop world.
