Muffler, how bad does this look?

How bad does this look to you guys?

I tried to tap it heard no rattles, it's peeling off badly but I havent seen any hole.

Also I seem to get a strong fuel smell at times, maybe its just normal idk, no rotten smell though like bad cat...

as long as its not leaking exhaust into your car or sounding louder then it used to be, then no. If you want to help make it better, tear all of the crusty cancer off the muffler and get some exhaust paint and repaint it. That would make it look better and hopefully slow down the rust.

It's just a muffler, id just get a new one lol
