Well, I ran across a good deal on a super clean 2005 Legacy GT Limited 5-speed wagon. Looks like I'll be converting the 99 Legacy back to a 5-speed and selling it. The gold Prodrives are going on the new wagon for sure though.
Damn you get all the good deals. I was just drooling over this car at the chevron by the great wolf today as it was parked on the opposite side of the pump and I looked over and thought I saw you in it as it drove away. I was like,"man there goes gabe with another Badass legacy. Lucky bastard."

Speaking of Saturday, we can have our first meet at my house this Saturday. Bbq and bonfire and badminton and beer pong and maybe corn hole at my house about 5:30pm. First annual we hate gabe meet.

Nah, Kimo and I live like 5 minutes from each other so we are just friends on Facebook. I don't think there's a BBS group, but there is LegacyNW and SLi and probably a few others.
Beatersubi is down here too, about 10 minutes in the other direction. Haha.
There's tons of Facebook groups. I like the 1st gen/2nd gen legacy group the best but pnw buy sell group is good too. A legacy central group would be cool too but with the existance of the 1st gen 2nd gen legacy group, what's the point? There's like 2k members in that group and its much more active than this forum and its mostly 1st gens.
Anyways Stephen (beatersubi is going to the bbq) and Kris who I actually forget his handle on here and maybe CJ.

The turbo is a whole different beast than the NA, Josh. Remember when your 90 was n/a? Plus a handy guy like Alphius can tune the DBW throttle however he likes.

Wait....I'm confused now.
The turbo is very different like Mike says. I've owned two N/A Subaru's of this era and the DBW is atrociously mapped and incredibly laggy. I was worried about the turbo car too because I drove a 2013 WRX around a bit and it was pretty bad as well. I've now owned two 05 Legacy GTs, and they seem to have very responsive DBW compared to the N/A and newer turbo cars.
I bought this one cheap enough that if I hated the throttle, I could've easily sold it without a financial hit.
Well that's good to hear the GT was better. I'm at a quandary about what to do about a daily driver. I keep hope that Subaru will bring back a WRX hatch/wagon, but I don't know if that will happen. The older WRX motors while do make power are as efficient as the newer DI motors.
