Old dude home alone on a Saturday night

Post by magicmike »

Hey all, just sitting back relaxing over a bottle of Beringer cabernet listening to some Vivaldi. Does life get any better than this? 8)

Well I guess it could if the totally finished ej22t sitting in my basement was in my car lol

Young dude home alone on a Saturday night...

Post by entirelyturbo »

It's raining cats and dogs here in central FL. It would be fun to go play around in, but the po-po is everywhere. Not gonna risk it tonight.

Nobody feels like going anywhere either, guy or girl. So I think I'm just gonna chill at home, listen to some Pink Floyd and drink some ginger ale (I'm only 19 ;) )

Pretty good way to relax for the night, but I too wish my Legacy was driveable at this point

Just finished polishing the EJ22T valve covers for the VHT wrinkle paint. Got Pink Floyd - Meddle, Gabrielle Roth, and Aphex Twin in the changer. Trying to finish up the second novel and drinking vodka-spiked cider. Very cold outside.

Well I wish you guys a relaxing evening <raises a glass of vanilla pepsi in a toast>

I'm throwing some of my cloths together real quick for my trip to LA tomarrow. I have an interview on Monday. Hopefully I'll get to my friend's place in time to see the start of the super bowl.

ahhhhh I can't wait to take another road trip in my car. I just wish I didn't have my snow tires on her. Those things are getting so chewed up here in Sacramento, at least it feels that way to me.

Moosehead and the movie Traffic for me... I want my car back :(

I try not to think of it as the drunk and lonely... Rather the drunk and saving money for car mods :?

Well, drink plenty of that water for that throat.

lol, man I was watching something on alcohol drinking the other night. It said that when you drink a lot, and have a hangover, your testosterone count drops like mad. The reason is that the alcohol helps turn it to estrogen somehow and a lot of it can actually cause your tesitacles to shrink (not sure if it is permanent or just temporary). They also said that your brain shrinks during a hangover because your body is starving for fluids. It was on the discovery channel or something.

Things you never knew. I have no idea to what level this stuff happens, though. I just caught hte tail end of the program.

Tea made with raspberry leaves and sage, sweetened with honey, works really well on sore throats.

Well, there are like 29384729 types of tea. I didn't mean to brew tea leaves with those ingredients; I meant just boil some water, steep some raspberry leaves and sage in it, and add honey. So you might be able to stand it. :)

Yeah, I drink water with some lemon juice in it too, especially when I'm not feeling well. Gargling with salt water is good for the throat too.

It all be good tomorrow when the Pats win (knock on beat up wood dining room table). I'll be eating chicken pie from Harrots - the best in New England, and drinking with my family.

Just got done getting the families ski gear packed and ready to head out in the morn and now I'm enjoying an ice cold Sierra Nevada Porter in a chilled glass mug, typing away another Saturday night.
