So as some of you have probably noticed I've been a bit MIA. I've been extremely busy with work and have been travelling a lot.

I can't promise I'll be on here every day, but I do read every post....eventually

Have you been staying dry with all the flooding?!

I had some water get in a couple months back in the same area, but it wasn't bad. I was able to just dry out the carpet, get new padding installed, and carpet retacked. I installed a water sensor after that one and it notified me of water, but I was out of town so when I got back I checked things and it felt dry so I don't know.

Now it's just really hot! It's 98 with a "feels like" temp of 109.

Hey everyone,

I am alive.....life has just been quite crazy the past few months and I haven't been able to get on the BBS.

Thanks for the thoughts about Harvey. I fared ok, and just had a little water in that got the carpet padding wet. It more or less was like last time. I was actually out of town when everything happen so it was a bit nerve racking not knowing what was going on. The flooding was bad around certain parts of town. My buddy got 6 ft in his place and him and his fiancee pretty much lost everything. People are still cleaning up and trying to get back to normal.

Yup, it's been pretty bad everywhere. Hope the winter isn't too crazy.
