This is the Powerstop pads/rotors/caliper kit offered by RockAuto as it comes for a 2002 legacy.

I recon it's a review / parts tip post? $200 is what it cost from RockAuto, I just thought the part source and application ID might be handy for some, and the price tag & pics be motivating. I'd sure have jumped on it sooner if I'd known it could be done for $200

How well did these do for you? I've been looking at buying the power stop brake kit for an 02 wrx front and rear, with rotors pads and newly built calipers. Just kinda exploring the options before I buy anything. Was thinking about maybe grabbing a set of 4/2 from an 06/7 wrx but have heard it's not really worth it?
The 06/07 WRX calipers are 100% worth it for looks, plus they keep the brake balance basically the same, and you have good pad choices. For daily driving the stock brakes are sufficient. I've done both the 03-05 WRX fronts/h6 rears (and at one point 05 Legacy GT rears) and the 06 WRX fronts/rears on the same car, and the 06/07 brakes (IMO) have a much better pedal feel. But... Bang for buck, the 03-05 WRX/H6 rears win hands down.

When you say H6 rears which year or model are the rears specifically? I'm a little confused cause I know there are multiple models with an H6. For what you described the 02-05 wrx fronts and H6 rears is what I'm headed for...
All 3rd gen legacy's had "H6" rear brakes. So any 00-04 Legacy will work. If you are buying refurbished calipers, the 05-08 Legacy GT has rear ventilated discs, the same discs as the 06/07 WRX. Same diameter as the "H6" brakes, but they are a bit wider.

Okay. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I tried looking around but theres quite a bit of info out there which gets confusing after reading for a while.
This swap requires a 16" rim. However (I'm saying don't do this, just know that it is possible), with some grinding the front calipers fit under a 15" wheel. The rears fit 15's with no grinding.
