possible rear LSD option, any opinions?

i understand the concept because it works almost like a locker for a truck but it doesnt use gears it just uses friction on the spider gear. when the rear diff turns in a straight line it puts pressure on the center pin which pushes the 2 plates apart and squeezes the spider gears in place, then when you turn one wheel goes faster so it takes pressure off the center pin releasing the spider so it can diferentiate. simple enough concept, i was just wondering what you guys thought of the product based on what they say? might be a decent alternative to trying to find a LSD rear and if it installs anything like the one on my truck does its not very difficult to install. plus theyre on ebay for 250 instead of 300... anyone see any downsides to this type of LSD? premature spider gear wear maybe?

thanks i figured something like that wouldnt be healthy for the spiders... well see if i can convince the company making the locker for my truck into designing something for the legacy rears... you cant beat a bulletproof locker for 200 bucks
