Another difference between 91-92,93,94 Legacy Turbo's
I saw another, post faclifted model of a lgacy turbo sedan. So I took a closer look, there are the diferences everyone knows about (taillights, headlights, corner lenses etc), but I also noticed the hoodscoop is different than on the 91's it is larger and has a slightly different shape, and is positioned further forward. So the idea on making the stock scoop larger, that I posted under Boostjunkie's "Another larger hoodscoop idea" wouldn't work for the post-92 models. Just letting everyone know, so that they don't think I'm smoking crack

Wait. So are the 91 hoodscoops larger and further forward than the other turbo legacies, or are the 92-94's larger? It's really early and my reading comprehension's a little lacking this morning

Yeah......I made a mental note of the differences in hood scoops when I had gotten my beat up turbo hood from the junkyard.
The 91 model is painted the whole way.....the 92-94 model, the inner portion is not painted and it looks like it's drawn back a little......couldn't really tell ya which one flows better though.....

Come to think about it. Has anyone tried making a routing system from the hoodscoop to the intercooler? Ala wrx? I was looking through the Home Depot this afternoon and saw a ducting that might actually work for this purpose. Cost . . . $5.
